Position:  Electronic Discovery Project Manager

The Project Manager requires strong project management, customer relationship management, strong technical and operation skills. Previous experience managing multiple projects; e-discovery experience is preferred. Experience managing projects in a professional services environment is highly valued. Strong organization, troubleshooting, conflict-resolution and communication skills are essential. The perfect candidate will also have strong computer competence with ability to learn new applications quickly. Law firm or other litigation experience is a definite plus.

The Project Manager is responsible for making sure the client receives the proper service through proactive attention to detail, planning, analysis, execution, and proper closures on a project. The project manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the project including, providing the client with clear direction/communication. Their responsibility is to make sure the project gets completed on time in accordance with the client's requirements.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Guide the clients through the data processing and production project life cycles
  • Facilitate effective client and internal team meetings
  • Document client objectives, assumptions and requirements
  • Monitor progress against plan throughout the project/delivery cycle including time, budget, and quality measures
  • Report project progress as required both internally and externally
  • Demonstrates good communication skills. Needs to understand and assimilate different requirements and changes, capture those in project updates and communicate to the project team
  • Demonstrates multitasking skills on a daily basis to manage multiple project
  • Identifies processes and quality improvements on ongoing process as well as post-project analysis
  • Co-ordinate interdepartmental resources ensuring completion of projects on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Conscientious handling of confidential client data
  • Proactively apply quality management, change control, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction control procedures
  • Effectively organize project documents and supporting material

 

Desired Education & Experience/Background:

  • Four year Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • 3 + years of experience working as a Project Manager with experience in E-discovery
  • Experience working with litigation support software Relativity
  • Outstanding teamwork, organizational and analytical skills

EQD, a leader in the electronic data & discovery industry is seeking a self-motivated person for an Electronic Discovery Database Analyst/Litigation Support on a contract to hire basis. You will be responsible for providing exceptional Relativity and NeedleFinder support and training to end-users. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are critical. We are looking for highly motivated, technical, detail oriented, and client service minded individuals. Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. Duties and Functions:

  • Experience working with Relativity
  • Import data
  • Provide personal training for end users
  • Use deductive problem solving skills to investigate and solve a broad range of challenges each day
  • Host remote sessions with users to assist in training and/or troubleshooting issues specific to their Windows-based computer system
  • Provide details and possible solutions when escalating issues to higher levels of support
  • Communicate with team, keeping them aware of the status of their issue/solution
  • Effectively communicate details to Project Managers who will need to know status of client’s issue
  • Provide basic reporting to ensure completion deadlines are met
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all EQD’s software products (Relativity, NeedleFinder, iConect)
  • Communicate actively with support team members regarding client issues, technical issues, etc.

  • Act as liaison between users and development
  • Help test fixes provided by development and incorporate them into client sites

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong technical problem solving, trouble-shooting and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Experience working in the legal and e-Discovery industry is a plus
